Founder

Experience across both sides of the table.

Neil Iyer is an investor and restructuring advisor with experience across special-situations credit and equity, corporate restructurings, and complex transactions.

Before founding Spruce Street Advisors, Neil co-founded and served as Chief Investment Officer of a hedge fund, analyzed special-situations investments at Silver Point Capital, and advised companies and stakeholders on restructurings at Blackstone and PJT Partners.

Neil is also a Principal at Vesta Realty Group, where he invests principal capital in distressed multifamily and hospitality real estate. That experience informs Spruce Street's approach to underwriting risk, structuring capital, and aligning interests.

Neil graduated summa cum laude from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in finance and accounting.
